We can help you install and configure the necessary software to place Dainbramage content on your network. This allows your users to access Dainbramage content over your network, and not your expensive upstream internet connections!
How it works - Just install and configure the software (we'll help you do it.) With the software running, you will begin receiving a single stream from one of the Dainbramage servers. The software then relays this stream to as many listeners as you want, without opening a single additional connection over the internet.
The savings - Dainbramage audio is streamed at various bitrates. If you have 1 listener connected to the Dainbramage servers, some portion of your upstream bandwidth is consumed. Add a second user, and that amount is doubled. We all know how chain letters, jokes, viruses, and links to cool sites spread across your networks. If you have one user listening, there will be more listening shortly. You can stop the consumption before it gets out of hand.
Cost - Nothing! The software is free. Our help setting it up is free. Content from Dainbramage is free. All we ask is that we be allowed to gather statistics telling us how many people are listening. We pay music royalties (including the ones for your listeners) on a per user basis and must have accurate listener counts in order to do this.
Access - The most common question asked of this service is who can access your mirror/relay. That's entirely up to you! If you're an ISP and wish to allow access from the entire world, that's fine. If not, you can mark your relay as private and only allow connections from the IP addresses you choose. It's up to you. We'll help you set it up either way.
